BIKING

Fancy a cycle?

We have Clanard Court Adult Bikes available for Hire on half or full day basis - please pre-book via Hotel Reception to avoid disappointment

An excellent range of bikes can also be hired through locally based Barrow Way Bikes in Vicarstown, where we have special rates for our guests - there are kids bikes available too.

We have a Bike Station Shelter on-site in our car park - so feel free to BYO Bike won't you!

GOLF

There are excellent local Golf Courses nearby with special rates for our guests available including nearby Athy Golf Club (18 hole, open all year round), where we have special golf fee rates and Kilkea Castle Golf Club plus we are the perfect base to play Kildare's championship courses too (e.g. K Club & Carton House).

BOATING ON LOCAL WATERWAYS

What better way to relax than board a narrowboat/barge in nearby picturesque Vicarstown and be skippered along the local waterways of the Grand Canal and River Barrow. Daily hire of the boats is available via Barrowline Cruisers.

ARCHERY & SHOOTING

Looking for another activity along side golf? The facilities of the Harbour House Sports Club are excellent, offering archery, clay pigeon shooting and rifle ranges along with a club house and training centre, all based locally in Athy.
