Environmental Policy
The Clanard Court Hotel is a boutique style 38 bedroomed hotel comprising of Baileys bar, Bailey’s brassiere and 5 function/meeting rooms. Our Hotel opens 24 hours, 362 days of the year offering a range of food and beverage services. Our core business is banqueting, with wedding receptions accounting for 75% of our banqueting trade.
At The Clanard Court we understand that our operations impact greatly on the Environment.
The Hotel Management and staff are committed to ensuring that these environmental impacts are minimised where possible and that all the Hotel’s activities are carried out in a manner which ensures pollution prevention and compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
At The Clanard Court – We operate a “Green Policy” whereby we encourage all staff members, hotel suppliers and customers alike to be environmentally aware – ie to “reduce, reuse and recycle”
The main impacts to be addressed through the implementation of an Environmental management system are Waste, Energy and Water management.
Having committed to achieving Excellence in Our Environment Care Program, the Clanard Court Hotel, its Management and its Staff have entered into a commitment to:
- Continually improve our operations
- Increase recycling Figures at back of house
- Set and monitor environmental objectives and targets
- Promote environmental awareness throughout The Hotel and encouraging all
Suppliers, guests and staff to play their part.
- Consider environmental impacts when planning for operational changes
This Environmental Policy will be reviewed annually and will be made available to all interested parties on request.
